Witt OBriens is looking for a proactive and outgoing individual to develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials, train internal staff and end users, and assist during system implementations, and emergency response events for a globally used suite of Software as a Service applications. This position requires an independent analyses as well as a collective team based approach. Individual should be an excellent communicator with problem solving aptitude. Must be a self-starter and work with limited supervision.
|Duties:||Essential Job Functions:|
Excellent communication (both oral and written) skills.
Serve as a system use and implementation expert.
Prepare annual training plan.
Participate in system testing.
Develop and maintain all user documentation and training materials.
Develop and maintain user support materials, such as e-learning and job aids.
Provide training support, both in person and online, on an as-needed basis.
Prepare requirements documentation.
Develop software specifications for enhancements to the system.
Participate in implementation and upgrade projects.
Participates in emergency response drills, exercises, and events.
Monitors support requests. Works with software product owners to prioritize resolution
|Qualifications:||Technical Skills and Abilities:|
Microsoft Office Suite knowledge is essential.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Incident Command System.
Ability to communicate problems with manager as they become known.
Excellent Interpersonal skills and a strong team player with an ability to build positive working environment.
Ability to learn and master new technology to train and support end users.
2 to 5 years of relevant technical experience
Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field (preferred)
Familiarity with emergency response and the Incident Command System is strongly desired.
