We are currently looking for an experience Recovery Services- Debris Manager to provide administrative, logistics and operations coordination during emergency deployment and or activations. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures as they relate to Debris Management and Public Assistance. Monitor current and developing client contracts for content and requirements.
|Duties:|| Act as a Senior Project Manager / Coordinator to direct several Project Managers during emergency activations.|
Responsible for managing multiple projects at any given time.
Coordinate and communicate with all personnel involved with the project.
Ensure that risks and problems are identified before they occur and take steps to prevent them.
Involved in every step of the project, from start to finish.
Provide logistical support of all ongoing projects.
Constantly communicate with senior management with regular updates on project status.
Coordinate with the various departments involved to ensure that each task is completed.
Develop and coordinate oversight of existing client contracts.
Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate Debris Division staff.
Identify and develop new clients / customers for products and services.
Regularly monitor budget and costing of debris projects to ensure costs are kept under control.
Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities and new project development.
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of methods, costs and results.
Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
Participate in the development of new project proposals including associated costs.
Develop, establish and implement standard operating procedures.
Represent the company at various conferences and/or business meetings to promote the company.
Supervise the preparation and deployment of the Mobile Command Post, Essential Equipment and Personnel.
Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
Recommend and administer policies to enhance current operational procedures.
Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop business plans for the company.
Attend specialized training sessions to better comprehend company marketing tools.
Constantly monitor active storms such as hurricanes, tornados and severe winter weather for possible Federal Declarations and contact potential clients in the affected areas.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelors Degree in an Emergency Management or Public Policy-related field or equivalent experience (5 years).
5 years for Debris Disaster related experience and 2 years at the Project Management level.
Skills and Abilities:
Prior experience in federal, state or local government planning or emergency management
Prior experience in the FEMA Public Assistance program
Prior experience in Data Management and Information Technology
Interest in growing, both personally and professionally, in the growing field of emergency preparedness and response
Training-related skills such as public speaking, curriculum development or classroom equivalent
Work history demonstrating the ability to work as a member of a team
Work history demonstrating experience with Debris operations and Project Management
Oral and written client-related communications skills
Must be able to Travel
